There were a number of comments from friends who exclaimed that they were now able to cross off one of their dreams from their bucket list by taking a tour in a helicopter. Over 100 members of the exclusive SKY FlyZone rewards program were treated to a FREE helicopter tour, great music and snacks from the Hardbite kettle-cooked potato chip company. The guests were taken on a scenic, 6 minute flight that saw them whisked up over Shannon Falls, around the grand Chief rock face, over the beautiful Horseshoe Bay and back.

This was the first SKY FlyZone event presented by SKY Helicopters. SKY FlyZone is a rewards program that anyone can join for the chance to win free flights and other cool prizes. This new statutory holiday was brought into being by current B.C. Premier Christy Clark as one of the mandates of her leadership was to support the family unit. B.C. gets a stat holiday in February for the first time in 2013, after Premier Christy Clark allowed public online voting to help determine its exact date.
